BURNING PERMITS
Obtain your burn permit by contacting Jefferson County Fire District #7
Once your permit is approved by the fire department and you would like to have a controlled burn you call 785-403-0108 and if there is not a burn ban you will provide your name, address, what you are burning and your permit number. Your controlled burn will be logged with Jefferson County.
Permits are valid for the calendar year.
Each time you wish to burn you must call the burn permit line.
